Waterways and Wells

The Roding is of course the most well known river skirting along between Wanstead and Redbridge. There have been many more waterways in Wanstead that have mostly disappeared from view although not from the geography. Wanstead's water supply was from the many wells mainly private but also public. In this page we set out to record some of these waterways and wells.
